Hair System Removal Guide

  Step 2:

To remove a hair system that has been bonded to Flash Trax you must first separate the hair system from the
Flash Trax attachment.  Apply remover or 91% alcohol to a cotton ball.  Gently work in between the
attached materials.  As the hairpiece starts separating from the flash trax attachment, peel gently.  Once the
hair piece is detached follow the removal process described below.

  Option 1:

Using 91% alcohol in a spray bottle, aim the spray at the edges of the Flash Trax attachment still attached to
the client's hair.  This will allow the alcohol to penetrate between the tape and loosen the adhesive.  Gently
peel at corners of the Flash Trax tape.  As you peel, keep spraying the alcohol at the area being peeled
away.  The Flash Trax tape will separate into two pieces that will easily slide out of the client's hair.  You will
be left with some tape and adhesive in the client's hair.  Use a fine tooth comb to remove any remaining
adhesive residue left behind.  This may take a few repetitions.  Shampoo thoroughly.

  Option 2:

Follow option one using the Flash Trax release instead of the alcohol.  You may need two shampoos to
thoroughly remove all oils the release formula contains from the client's hair.
